I’m Linda Evans, owner of K-9 Walks, LLC. My husband and I live in the Alki Beach area of West Seattle. I left the corporate world at Nike a few years ago and started my own business creating marketing materials for other small businesses. That was enjoyable, but I realized that I am happiest when I am playing and interacting with animals. I’ve taken care of pets all my life - my own as well as those of friends and neighbors. Starting my own pet care business just seemed natural.

Our pet family includes Truman, our 6 year-old cocker spaniel, and Ruby, our 6 year-old tortoiseshell kitty. We are Truman’s third owners, and I think he finally feels like he has a true home.

I found Ruby as a pregnant 7-month old kitten who’d been dumped in a plant nursery. I picked her up and put her in my car intending to take her to a shelter but, needless to say, we never made it! She and Truman are true soul-mates now.
