I provide dog walking and pet sitting services in West Seattle.
Do you provide
longer-term vacation care?
Only occasionally at this point. My family and pets have requested
my presence most weekends - but please feel free to check!
Are there
any discounts for multiple visits per day?
I dont discount for multiple visits because quality and
the time spent traveling and caring for your pet is the same for
each visit.
Is an in-home
consultation necessary before taking care of my pets?
Absolutely! You need to make sure you and your pet(s) are comfortable
with me and vice versa. The consultation takes about 30 minutes
and I gather information about your pets routines and needs
and have you sign necessary forms. Keys to your home are normally
transferred at this visit as well. NOTE: Please contact me at
least 1 week before you need pet care services to set up the initial
consultation. I cannot provide pet care services before this important
meeting takes place. Appointments can be scheduled Monday-Thursday
up to 7 p.m.
What forms
will I have to sign?
All professional pet sitters have a contract that explains the
terms of service, as well as pet profiles that give us important
information about the temperament of your pet, feeding regimen,
exercise and play likes/dislikes, medical history and conditions,
etc. There is also a pet owner contact form and, if necessary,
a veterinary release for emergency treatment.
Why do you
need to keep a house key?
Professional pet sitters keep keys for regular clients so that
we dont have to keep picking them up and returning them
($10 charge for each repeat key pick-up). Keeping a key on file
also allows me to provide last-minute or emergency visits when
needed. Keys are kept in a secure location and are coded so no
personal ID information is available.
When is payment
due?
Payment for one-time or infrequent walks or pet sit visits is
due at the time of service. Clients who book at least 3 walks/sits
per week can be billed monthly, if desired. A late charge of $10
will be applied if payment is not made within 7 days of the date
of the invoice.
